Cowgirl Country!

Oh how I love painted ponies, jack rabbits and cowgirl boots!  

This design is so fun.  You can stitch the design as a whole or in sections like I did.  

Adding the twine and buttons makes it a wonderful mixed-media finish.  

I am sure that there are those of you who will come up with even more creative ways of stitching and presenting this chart.

Here in Tucson it's rodeo week.  Cowgirl Country fits right into our festivities.

This design will be in shops near the end of February.

The mounting wool is from Weeks Dye Works.

The buttons were purchased at Michael's.  

You could come up with any number of clever ways to 

arrange the designs and fill the spaces.  

I just love her lasso!
